Did you know that as a license holder you have legal requirements and regulations for engaging in the real estate business? Perhaps you also belong to a trade association connected to the real estate business that has a code of conduct and you see that as a requirement for engaging in the business. There is more to your requirements than a trade associa­tion expectations. It is every license holder’s responsibility to know and operate under the current
laws applicable to their license. The course covers the requirements Texas law places upon all license holders regard­ing ethical conduct when facilitating a real estate transaction.

Enter your User ID and Password

From Home page, go to the Input tab and click on Input

Under Listings, go to the “Quick Modify” section and enter your MLS # and edit

In Select Form you will go to Open Houses

You will enter the date of the tour you want your home on.

Time will be from 9:00 to 11:00 am.

Active status is “yes”

Under Open House Type, it is very IMPORTANT to make sure you pick “CARAVAN” (This is the only way we can find it to enter your property on the tour).

Under Comments, please put which tour (New Braunfels, San Marcos or Seguin) you want it on and any other additional comments you’d like.

 Course Description:

One of the scariest laws that affect a real estate license holder is the Fair Housing Act.  The reason is simple, we real estate professionals really DON’T understand it as well as we should.  This course helps to solve that problem by providing an interesting look at the Federal Fair Housing Act and how it affects the real estate industry.  The course identifies each of the protected classes and analyzes each.  The course is filled with poignant case studies that keep the interest of the students.  Stories and stretching questions round out this must attend course that could keep a license holder safe from a dangerous issue.
