The Texas Real Estate Commission has determined that additional and continuing education regarding the promulgated forms a nd documents is required and advisable for the Real Estate Community. This course is intended to provide participants with an in-depth review\, by p aragraph\, of the One to Four Family Contract (RESALE). Participants will come away with a better understanding of this contract\, not just what goe s in the blanks\, but also a better understanding of the meaning and impac t of the various provisions.

Planning and zoning serve as the basis for all communities—the communities of your past and present\, as well as communities of the future. This course will teac h you the basic components and processes of the planning and zoning phases of real estate development\, and how these phases must lead us to a bette r way of developing communities through the application of smart growth pr inciples. You will learn how to not only strengthen your business but also become an advocate for smart\, sustainable\, equitable growth in your com munity. In effect\, by the time this course is complete\, you will see the future of your community\, and your business\, in a whole new way!
\nThe goals of this course are for students to:

Contributions are not deductible for f ederal income tax purposes. Contributions to the \;Texas REALTORS® Pol itical Action Committee (TREPAC) and the Texas Association of \;REALTO RS® Federal Political Action Committee (TAR FedPAC)—which makes \;cont ributions to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC)—are voluntary and \;may be used for political purposes. The amount indicated is mer ely a guideline\, and you \;may contribute more or less than the sugge sted amount. You may refuse to contribute \;without reprisal\, and the National Association of REALTORS®\, Texas REALTORS®\, and its \;local associations will not favor or disadvantage anyone because of the amount& nbsp\;contributed. Until the RPAC annual goal is met\, 70% of an individua l’s contribution goes \;to TREPAC and may be used to support state and local candidates\; the remaining 30% is \;sent to TAR FedPAC to suppo rt federal candidates and is charged against your limits \;under 52 U. S.C. 30116. (Exception: 100% of an individual’s contribution goes to TREPA C \;if the individual is an employee of an affiliate member of Texas R EALTORS®.)
