This course will teac h you the basic components and processes of the planning and zoning phases of real estate development\, and how these phases must lead us to a bette r way of developing communities through the application of smart growth pr inciples. You will learn how to not only strengthen your business but also become an advocate for smart\, sustainable\, equitable growth in your com munity. In effect\, by the time this course is complete\, you will see the future of your community\, and your business\, in a whole new way!
\nThe goals of this course are for students to:

Contributions are not deductible for f ederal income tax purposes. Contributions to the \;Texas REALTORS® Pol itical Action Committee (TREPAC) and the Texas Association of \;REALTO RS® Federal Political Action Committee (TAR FedPAC)—which makes \;cont ributions to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC)—are voluntary and \;may be used for political purposes. The amount indicated is mer ely a guideline\, and you \;may contribute more or less than the sugge sted amount. You may refuse to contribute \;without reprisal\, and the National Association of REALTORS®\, Texas REALTORS®\, and its \;local associations will not favor or disadvantage anyone because of the amount& nbsp\;contributed.
